The Hero’s Journey, as identified by Joseph Campbell, says that we all share a certain pattern how we move through life, experience challenges (or a Call to Adventure), grow, and learn from our experiences.
The most important aspect of The Hero’s Journey is returning with The Ultimate Boon. In other words, how do you share what you’ve learned with others to help them on their own journey?
I’m working on collecting stories to see how Campbell’s study of mythological stories overlap with the stories of people today and yesterday. From Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich, to Tony Robbins, we can see the same patterns occur.
