Ancient Canal Builders
Updated August 28, 2022
I had initially published this article in April of 2011 but discovered in 2022 that the site by John Jensen* was no longer available. It categorized many hidden canals and ports in North America, shifting our view from what we think we know about America to a whole new and radically different perspective of pre-historic civilizations on the North American continent.
My personal belief from all the articles, books, and research I’ve seen is that the North American content suffered a catastrophe that affected the whole world around 12-13,000 years ago. That the reason North America seemed so behind the rest of the world, civilization-wise was that so much had been destroyed that only myths and legends survived. The Hopi’s Ant People who saved them by going into a mountain underground is one such story.
Here are some additional sites I’ve found that have some research on ancient canals:

*I have not been able to find any activities of John Jensen but was able to pull information from his archived website on the Wayback Machine and will try to archive a copy of his content myself. His Ancient Canals website is now a gambling site and his Facebook page is some other business.

Anger Sharks
Some days, you just get pissed off. Something little might even trigger you and send you into a spiral.
The biggest thing is not to react in the moment, but respond. It’s also good not to stew for too long if it’s something that needs to be addressed.
I stumbled across these ancient canal systems as I was idly examining random rural marshy areas near the Texas coast on satellite imagery. I could not believe what I was seeing. Deliberately-dug canals, half ruined, yet still quite clear. Dozens of them, branching off every direction, seemingly going for miles and miles to nowhere. And I thought- surely WE did not bother to build these. So who did? I began scouring all coastal areas closely, and found similar ruined systems leading to nowhere in New Jersey swampland and surrounding Lake Erie, especially in the Sandusky region. It’s truly incredible. And to hear things like “Science doesn’t support that people could do this…” uh… but we are currently looking directly at it, what more does “science” need to admit what can be easily seen with the eyes?
Yes! It’s really incredible. I’m currently in contact with someone who knew John Jensen and we may be sharing more information soon.
Thanks for sharing, Megan!
Those canals were dug in the 1960s so service oil production platforms.
